Wake-up and Be a Success

Tired of being overlooked in the grand scheme of things?  Do you feel like your company goes unnoticed, even though you live in a small town or community?  When people mention your company name is the response a dim look of confusion?  Sorry – your fault.  If you are a company that wants to be thought of when people go to buy your product, first rule – they have to have heard of you.  Failure is almost 100% if nobody knows you exist.  How do you change it and become the company on the tip of everybody’s tongue?  Get involved.  Of course you would like to sit inside your business doors and never have to actually hob-knob with your potential clients, but it’s time to come out of your dream world.  Sponsor something like a baseball team, or a town parade, and tell them you will provide a banner at the event that says you sponsored.  For just one event you can get a banner out of a “non-tearable” paper that isn’t expensive.  Ask them how much advertising they will be doing and how many times prior to the event your name will be seen in print.  Then go to the event and say hello to a few people, wear a shirt that has your company name on it.  Your days of hiding your light under a bushel are over.  So get your party clothes on and get out there!  It’s time.  It’s past time!
